CD Fulkes Middle School Crystal Allen, a Texas author, recently came to visit the 7th graders at CD Fulkes. She introduced students to her books, told stories about her childhood and described her path to becoming an author. Next, she shared a story that a student had created after only seeing a picture for a minute. She gave students some tips to creating a good story, presented them with a picture, and gave them a minute to write their own. Some students volunteered to share their stories and were rewarded with signed copies of her book. Mrs. Allen definitely inspired a lot of people and stories with her visit!
