CD Fulkes Middle School We had a pep rally for Black History Month. Our choir sang “Black National Anthem” and the Jazz Band played one of Duke Ellington’s pieces. There were multiple dance performances, all highlighting the influence of the African-American culture. We also had special guests from the Austin Spurs speak to the students about the importance of staying in school and working had to graduate. It was amazing to see what our students can do!
